It’s rare that a watch around $200 generates as much buzz as Noah and Timex’s releases. And it’s even more rare that those watches actually appreciate on the secondary market.
If you couldn’t get your hand (er, wrist) on one of the first two Noah x Timex watches, you’re in luck: The duo just launched their third piece, Noah x Timex: The Moon Watch. It’s available now on NoahNY.com for $198, but you’ll want to grab one very quickly. If the last two releases are any indicator, this one will be gone very soon — and start popping up on resale sites for a significant markup.

The new Noah x Timex: The Moon Watch “takes its inspiration from the night sky whose cycles have marked time for humanity far longer than any calendar.” This takes the form of a handsome moon phase complication on the crisp, throwback dial. The watch features a quartz movement and a date complication, all set under a mineral glass crystal. The case measures a stylishly petite 37 by 25 millimeters.
Two finishes are available, including polished stainless steel or a warm gold-tone. Both feature a crocodile-pattern leather strap; the stainless steel model’s strap is a darker brown, and the gold-tone option’s strap comes in a lighter hue.
Noah and Timex first teamed up last June for the gold-tone Tank-style Sun and Moon Watch, which was very similar to the new release but didn’t feature a date complication. That first watch was one of the hottest launches of the summer — we’re still seeing them going for $300+ on eBay.
This past June, the two brands announced the Lighthouse Watch, a playful oval-shaped nod to the Patek Philippe Golden Ellipse. Pre-orders for the Lighthouse Watch are sold out. The watch doesn’t ship until November, but we expect those to pop up on the resale market at a premium as well.
