I was one of the lucky few to see Justin Bieber this past weekend at Coachella 2026. The almost two-hour-long romp had me standing, singing, dancing, and sometimes crying with throngs of Beliebers. The set was a nostalgic one, featuring old tracks like the famed hit “Baby,” “Beauty and a Beat,” and “Never Say Never,” along with newer songs like “Daisies” and “I Think You’re Special” off of his 2025 album Swag. The set was also chock-full of cameos from fellow artists like Tems, Wizkid, Dijon, The Kid Laroi, and Mk.gee.

While I enjoyed every minute, the heat from all those dancing Beliebers was pretty unbearable. The only reason a sweaty girl like me got through the weekend was because of Shark’s ChillPill Personal Fan, a handheld piece of tech that was a godsend. It just so happens that Bieber dropped a special color Shark ChillPill fan in collaboration with his fashion and accessories brand SKYLRK just in time for Coachella weekend two.

This bright orange handheld Shark ChillPill fan was made in collaboration with Justin Bieber. The fan comes with two alternative heads.

The tech currently retails for $150 on SharkNinja’s website and comes in a vibrant orange hue. The desert weekend one was warm and sunny, with some days nearing highs of 90°F. Safe to say, I needed this fan desperately. The ChillPill was with me at all times, nestled in my back pocket or in my crossbody bag, keeping me cool with controlled blasts of cold air that you can adjust as you see fit with an intuitive dial touchscreen. I didn’t have the pleasure of testing out the SKYLRK-inspired one, but the functionality is the same.

The dial goes from one to 10, controlling the strength of the airflow. To turn the fan on, you’ll flip a silver button on the side up before pressing and holding the touch screen. The fan lasted hours, through multiple sets, without needing a charge. Shark claims the fan can last for up to 11 hours, which sounds about right considering how long I was on the festival grounds each day.

The ChillPill comes with two interchangeable heads that click into place, offering unique functions that the fan head can’t provide. My personal favorite was the InstaChill cooling plate, a cooling metal plate that feels heavenly when pressed against the neck or forehead. Shark says that this cooling plate is said to lower your skin’s temperature by up to 16°F.

There’s also a dry-touch mister that can be opened and filled up before use. When the fan or InstaChill didn’t cut it, this mister saved me on some of the hottest days. Bonus: this feature didn’t ruin my makeup. In fact, it kind of gave me a hydrated look that I appreciated out in the dry and dusty desert. I used this fan all three blazing hot days at Coachella, and I am pretty sure I survived because of it.
