Travis Kelce Teams Up With American Eagle on Clothing Collection

Travis Kelce is having quite the week. After getting engaged to Taylor Swift, Kelce launched a major collaboration with American Eagle through his clothing brand, Tru Kolors.

According to the brand, the collection was “more than a year in the making,” although the timing is certainly conspicuous for both Kelce and American Eagle. The former got engaged to the most famous pop star on the planet, while the latter launched a headline-grabbing ad campaign earlier this summer starring Sydney Sweeney, which turned into yet another flare-up in the culture wars.

In a statement announcing the collection, Kelce said “I’ve had to keep my excitement about this collab under wraps for nearly a year. It was an awesome opportunity to team up with an established brand where both sides were excited to truly collaborate on every decision in the design and creative process that brought the ‘AE x TK’ collection to life.”

The first part of the collection launched on Aug. 27, while the rest of the pieces hit shelves on Sept. 24. Prices range from $15 to $180. In addition to Kelce, the campaign stars some notable college athletes, including tennis player Anna Frey, basketball players Azzi Fudd and Kiyan Anthony, football players Drew Allar and Jeremiah Smith, as well as gold medal gymnast Suni Lee. The collegiate theme also runs through the collection, which features varsity jackets, sweats, caps, and scarves.
