The Toronto Blue Jays are back in the World Series for the first time since 1993 and I for one, cannot be more excited.
As someone who born in Toronto, I vividly recall the heyday of Canada’s (now-sole) MLB team in the Nineties, when the Jays won back to back World Series titles in 1992 and 1993. Now, Toronto has a chance to take home another championship trophy as the Jays face off against the Los Angeles Dodgers in a best-of-seven series.
Tickets to the 2025 World Series are selling out online, with resellers and third-party sites listing stubs for as much as $19,000 for home plate sightlines. Fans can also pick up official Blue Jays merch on sites like Fanatics and FOCO.com, with everything from licensed T-shirts and hats, to bobblehead figurines available online.
But one piece of fan-made merch is capturing attention amongst Blue Jays fans, with user-generated “BJ” T-shirts taking over the internet. Amazon has multiple variations of the slightly-NSFW merch online, with the graphic available as part of the site’s “Merch on Demand” platform. The platform offers graphic tees, hoodies, clothing and accessories from independent content creators who use Amazon as a marketplace. Each design is printed when you place your order and eligible for all of Amazon’s Prime shipping perks and discounts.
Want to pick up a “Blue Jays”-inspired BJ shirt or hoodie? Here’s a look at what’s available online. Whether they’re suitable for work (SFW) or suitable for the World Series (SFWS) is entirely up to you.
MLB Men’s Union Arch Franklin Team Color T-Shirt
Amazon also has official Blue Jays merch for sale, including this vintage-inspired tee, which features the Toronto Blue Jays wordmark and team logo blended on the center of the chest. We like this washed blue color too, which adds to the lived-in look and feel. Multiple adult sizes are available.
47 MLB Team Color Primary Logo Mesh Trucker Hat
And you can pick up an official Toronto Blue Jays hat from ’47, on sale for just $35 on Amazon right now. This is a trucker-style cap with a mesh top and adjustable backing. One size fits all.
This isn’t the first time R-rated baseball merch has hit the internet this year: the MLB store drew eye raises over the summer when it launched a series of baseball caps with questionable logo placement that led to some (accidentally?) inappropriate phrases. Curious folks can still find the NSFW hats — like the “TETAS” Rangers New Era cap — on eBay.
