Qualcomm Inc., the biggest maker of chips that run smartphones, gave a strong revenue forecast for the current period, helping allay concern that tariffs will hurt consumer demand for the devices.
Revenue in the quarter ending in September will be $10.3 billion to $11.1 billion, the company said in a statement Wednesday. That compares with an average analyst estimates of $10.6 billion.
