Paige DeSorbo’s Medical Emergency Led to Love Island USA Exit

Paige DeSorbo couldn’t handle the Fiji heat—literally.

The Summer House alum suffered a medical emergency while shooting Love Island USA‘s June 15 episode, leading to her sudden exit from the Peacock series.

“It’s a long filming day, and we started pretty early,” Paige explained on her June 17 Giggly Squad podcast episode. “And mind you, I had just landed—not even a full 24 hours that I am there. I’m not even acclimated. But I’m fine, I’m not gonna say that. I’m not gonna be a diva. Like, I’m doing a job.”

But midway through filming, the 32-year-old struggled in the tropical temperatures.

“The sun starts beating down on me pretty aggressively,” the Bravolebrity continued. “I have a high pain tolerance, so if I’m uncomfortable, I’m really waiting for the last second to tell you, because I don’t want to be a problem. I don’t want to be bothersome.”
