Kathy Hilton QVC Show, Hosting Tips, Gift Guides

QVC is officially crowning Kathy Hilton its 2025 “Mrs. Claus,” a moniker that feels almost predestined.

Long before her partnership with QVC, Hilton cultivated a reputation as Hollywood’s ultimate hostess — famous for her extravagant Christmas parties in Bel-Air that draw a mix of old-guard socialites, reality stars and bold-faced family members alike. Her home, often featured in magazines and on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” is a study in old-Hollywood opulence: crystal chandeliers, polished silver trays and seasonal decor that rivals a department store window.

“I like a lot of the vintage — all of my rooms are different and eclectic,” Hilton tells Variety. This year, instead of ringing in the holidays from her home, she brought the festivities to the Beverly Hills Hotel, where she hosted a sitdown dinner to celebrate the partnership.

The exclusive collaboration features a lineup of luxe, giftable products just in time for the holidays. As the face of the online retailer’s “All Is Bright” campaign, Hilton will also anchor a season of shoppable events and curated collections, including a candle with Slatkin & Co., a jewelry line with Anna Zuckerman and a limited-edition PrintFresh pajama set debuting Nov. 2.

The partnership extends beyond the screen with a two-day Mrs. Claus’ Holiday House pop-up in New York’s Flatiron District on November 19–20, offering fans the chance to shop Hilton’s handpicked items, meet QVC hosts and take part in interactive holiday experiences. On Nov. 4, Hilton will also host her famed Annual Holiday Pajama Party live from her Bel-Air home, featuring surprise guests and festive tips streamed across QVC and TikTok Shop.

Ahead of the holidays, Variety sat down with Hilton to get her top hosting tips and gifting recommendations:

The party detail she never overlooks: a tablescape

“Flowers are always great. Sometimes I will put ornaments in between. I like the table to be very full during the holidays. So I do ornaments around. I do these little miniature votives that have these little silver trays under them and I place them in different areas. I’ll do some artificial snow, little mountains of snow.”

What makes the perfect tablescape: edible flowers

“If I have to drive around to three markets to get edible flowers, I will. If I have to pick them outside my garden or your garden or my neighbor’s garden, I will. Seriously, I like to have it all looking gorgeous.

The one thing she never wants to be gifted again: a picture frame

“I don’t want to see another picture frame again, ever. Unless it’s a picture of us in it together, don’t give me a picture frame.”

The perfect hostess gift: a candle

“If you’re going to someone’s home, it is nice to bring a hostess gift. You don’t know if the person drinks wine or champagne or not. It’s easy to do but what’s better is a candle. And there’s so many candles out there now that smell unisex — especially during the holidays.

I love a candle for a man’s office, like the husband can say, ‘I want to take this and bring it to my office, it’s a handsome looking, gorgeous candle. It’s beautiful.’ You really can’t go wrong with a candle. If you know that they love champagne, get a bottle of champagne, fine. If they’re having the party, they can open it up and add it if they run out of things.”
