John Mulaney will be back in his old stomping grounds next summer for a show at Chicago’s Wrigley Field.

The Emmy-winning comedian, a Chicago native, will bring his ongoing tour “John Mulaney: Mister Whatever,” to the city’s famed baseball stadium on Saturday, July 11, 2026. The show marks the first time a comedian will perform standup at the iconic ballpark.

Tickets are currently available for the new date, in addition to all his remaining tour dates, on Stubhub, Vivid Seats, Ticketmaster and Seatgeek.

Mulaney announced the news during the 7th inning of the Cubs vs. Mets telecast Tuesday night, after singing “Take Me Out To The Ballgame” to the crowd.

The 2026 stadium date expands on Mulaney’s “Mister Whatever” tour, which launched in 2025 and sold out cities nationwide. Previously, he performed the “From Scratch” tour, which was later adapted into his 2023 Netflix special “Baby J.”

Outside of standup, Mulaney returned to Netflix with a second season of his talk show “Everybody’s in L.A” earlier this year. “Everybody’s Live” is an outgrowth of “John Mulaney Presents: Everybody’s In LA,” which aired over six days last May during the Netflix Is a Joke Festival.
