I am about to board a flight to Guangzhou. I will get to see the latest in “Physical AI” from XPENG, including their ARIDGE flying car, IRON humanoid robot, VLA 2.0 intelligent driving system, and new EV models, like the GX.

After a couple of days, I continue on to Beijing to attend Auto China 2026 (aka the Beijing Auto Show). It is easily the most important show for EVs globally. While EV announcements have largely dried up in the US, there will be over 181 premieres and 71 concept cars at the event, mostly EVs. And that doesn’t include the recently released vehicles among the 1,451 different cars that will be at the show. There will also be some surprises, both on and off the show floor.

After 4 days in Beijing, I head home. It is all way too much for any single person to try to cover. In addition to XPENG, I anticipate seeing models from BYD and dozens of other automakers. I don’t anticipate time for sightseeing. And I won’t get to see everything. Prioritization will be a challenge.

However, our readers here at CleanTechnica tend to be a step above the rest. I feel honored to have this opportunity and have my own interests, but I also want to hear about what you would be interested in. Is there anything that you would like to see? Anything you would like me to explore further or give extra attention? Have any questions about all the progress happening at XPENG? Any premieres in Beijing? Anything else? I look forward to seeing the answers when I get into Guangzhou around lunchtime on Tuesday.

I am not going to make any promises. With so much going on, I will probably not get to see everything I personally want to see. However, if the opportunity arises or if I can break away quickly, I will try to take a look, ask a question, or take a few shots.

So, is there anything that you would like me to explore?
