Elon Musk Pushes $1 Trillion Pay Plan During Tesla Earnings Call

Elon Musk, the world’s richest person, spent the end of Tesla Inc.’s earnings call pleading with investors to ratify his upcoming $1 trillion pay package and blasting the shareholder advisory firms that have come out against the plan.

“I just think that there needs to be enough voting control to give a strong influence,” Musk said following a 75-minute call. “But not not so much that I can’t be fired if I go insane.”
