Carrie Underwood Sent Tiffany Jewelry to ‘American Idol’ Contestants

What’s better than a ticket to Hollywood while competing on American Idol? Maybe a gift from an American Idol winner herself.

In a Monday (April 13) Facebook post, American Idol season 24 top 11 contestant Hannah Harper shared that she received a personal gift from season four winner and current judge Carrie Underwood.

“Didn’t think my first piece of Tiffany & Co. jewelry would come from Carrie Underwood,” wrote Harper, who shared a photo of the iconic Tiffany blue box and something even more special than the jewelry itself. “But truly, the part that got me the most was the handwritten note. That meant more than anything.”

Alongside the jewelry, Underwood included a heartfelt note to Harper, praising her talent and congratulating her on making it far in the competition.

“From the first time I laid eyes on you — and heard your story [and] your voice, I knew you were special,” Underwood said in the handwritten letter, calling Harper “an inspiration” that women and moms everywhere relate to. Harper has opened up about her experiences as a stay-at-home mom, facing postpartum depression and overcoming the harder days of motherhood. “I [cannot] wait to see what God has in store for you [and] I am so blessed to have a front row seat.”

In her caption Harper called Underwood a “good kind human.” “Y’all, she’s as down-to-earth and genuine as they come,” she wrote.

Fellow Top 11 contestant Keyla Richardson also shared her special gift from the “Before He Cheats” singer via Instagram on Tuesday (April 14). Like Harper, Richardson received something from Tiffany and Co. and a handwritten note.

“Your kindness and generosity mean more than words can express,” Richardson wrote in her caption, thanking Underwood for the present. “The fact that you took the time to bless someone like that speaks to the incredible woman and class act that you are.”

Underwood won American Idol in 2005 and now serves as a judge on the current 24th season, her second year in a row in the role. Since her win 21 years ago, the country star has gone on to hit the Billboard Hot 100 43 times and the Billboard 200 10 times.
