From tribute concerts to a recent biopic, Bob Marley remains one of the most culturally important figures in music and culture — and now, fans will be able to celebrate the reggae pioneer in a unique way. Today, Rolling Stone unveiled the 2025 Rolling Stone Bob Marley Keepsake Premiere Edition, an extraordinary collectible card collection that pays tribute to Marley’s legacy in ways never seen before. Spanning 250 card designs (over 13,000 total), the collection commemorates Marley at different stages of his genre-defining career, offering an elevated way to remember reggae’s most enduring voice, songwriter, activist, and icon.

The blind-wrapped Rolling Stone Bob Marley Keepsake cards each come in six treatments: Rainbow (99 cards), Swirl (75), Ice (50), Sheen (25), Fireworks (10), and one-of-one Vinyl. Some of the rarest cards also include gemstones and precious metals, such as diamonds, gold, rubies, and platinum. Others include museum-worthy relics from Marley’s estate, including a piece of the piano used on his 1980 Uprising tour with the Wailers, which were Marley’s final performances. Lucky collectors can also score one of three ultra-rare cards that reproduce the three times Marley appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone, each with photography from the legendary Anne Leibovitz.

“With this collection, we’re honoring my father’s legacy in a way that’s never been done — giving fans a chance to own a true piece of history,” said Cedella Marley, CEO of the Bob Marley Group of Companies, Grammy-winning singer, author, designer, and Bob Marley’s daughter. “From rare relics to iconic imagery, this launch is for the collectors, the fans, and the next generation of storytellers.”

Marley’s place in music history remains uncontested. Even before his untimely passing in 1981, many of his songs— “No Woman, No Cry,” “Get Up Stand Up,” “I Shot the Sheriff,” “Could You Be Loved” — had become the bedrock of reggae, taking the music from the streets of Jamaica to global stages. Rolling Stone recognized Marley’s importance early on, first putting Marley on its cover in 1976 with one of Leibovitz’s classic photos. In recent years, Marley’s Exodus and Catch a Fire albums were both included in Rolling Stone’s list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.

“At Rolling Stone, we’re constantly finding new ways to celebrate the artists who move culture forward,” said Julian Holguin, CEO of Rolling Stone. “Partnering with Keepsake to reimagine Bob Marley’s legacy as a collectible experience brings our storytelling into a new dimension—connecting generations through music, art, and history.”

At the same time, the Marley collectibles market has been growing. Over the past two decades, autographed albums, a snippet of his dreadlocks, and one of his blue denim work shirts have been sold at auction. In 2006, a notebook belonging to Marley’s former art director, which included handwritten Marley lyrics and Wailers set lists, went for $72,000, more than double the expected price. Last year, a leading Marley collectible sold his entire archive to a serious collector; the terms of the sale were not disclosed, but the collection had been valued at $3 million.

Given the surging interest, Marley fans and card collectors looking to secure a piece of the collection are encouraged to snag cards while they’re available. (Rolling Stone’s Jimi Hendrix Keepsake Premiere Edition, released earlier this year, sold out quickly).

Rolling Stone will also host a breaking live stream on Fanatics Live on Dec. 17. All proceeds from the live stream will go to the Bob Marley Foundation.
