Austin Butler’s fans are most certainly saying thank you, thank you very much.
The Elvis actor debuted his eye-popping body transformation for his upcoming film Caught Stealing and detailed how he achieved his buff, ab-heavy new look.
In the new photos, the Carrie Diaries alum appeared shirtless with a sweater wrapped around his waist and accessorized with a necklace, accentuating his physique that can be seen in Caught Stealing, where Austin plays a burned-out former baseball player. And the role required him to look toned but not too toned, as requested by director Darren Aronofsky.
“I actually have a whole section of just baseball players’ asses that he would send me,” Austin shared with Men’s Health for their September/October 2025 issue. “He was like, ‘Look how thick they are!'”
The 34-year-old worked with trainer Beth Lewis—who also worked with Hugh Jackman on Deadpool & Wolverine—and made sure Austin was constantly eating and even drinking a few beers to achieve the desired look.
