Michael B. Jordan was among the closing acts at Amazon‘s upfront presentation to advertisers Monday at the Beacon Theatre in New York. And this particular appearance was not about the Oscar winner’s next big acting gig, but about his growing role as a producer.

Towards the end of the event, Jordan unveiled details about a trio of TV shows he is producing for Prime Video, including Muhammad Ali biographical series “The Greatest,” “Creed” spinoff “Delphi” and “Fourth Wing.”

Jordan was introduced by Amazon head of TV Peter Friedlander and film chief Courtenay Valenti, who touted the studio’s “expansive relationship” with Jordan and his young production company, Outlier Society, which is run by president Elizabeth Raposo.

The “Sinners” star then took the stage and first spoke about his passion for telling the story of boxing legend Ali with the new show, “The Greatest,” which marks the first-ever project about Ali’s life authorized by his estate. Created by Ben Watkins, the show will follow Ali from his roots as Cassius Clay through his iconic career with the wife of the late Ali, Lonnie Ali, serving as consultant. Ali joined Jordan to talk about the project, her trust in Jordan and his team, and about finding Jaalen Best, the young actor who will take on the leading role. Jordan brought Best out on stage before showing a brief sizzle reel that teased “The Greatest.”

Next up was “Delphi,” which Jordan is making alongside frequent collaborator Ryan Coogler. Jordan reflected on when Coogler first asked him to play the role of Adonis Creed, the son of the iconic “Rocky” character Apollo Creed. Jordan then announced that “Delphi” will begin production in Los Angeles May 18 and brought out showrunner Marco Ramirez.

And last but not least, Jordan announced that the TV series adaptation of author Rebecca Yarros’ best-selling romantasy “Fourth Wing” has been ordered to series. Jordan’s Outlier Society snapped up the rights to “The Empyrean” series of books before Yarros had even published the first novel, “Fourth Wing,” in May 2023 and then brought it to Amazon, where it has been in development since. Now, the “Fourth Wing” TV series is ready to move forward with Yarros and Jordan executive producing alongside showrunner Meredith Averill and “Westworld’s” Lisa Joy (who will direct the first episode), who all came out on stage.
