The actress had no objection to making a fashion statement at the Jan. 4 event, arriving to the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif., dressed in a Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello double-breasted blazer with matching trousers and thigh-high patent leather boots. With her hair done in textured bob , she completed her head-turning look with a large fur stole and Tiffy & Co. jewelry.

Teyana, 35, headed into the ceremony with a Best Supporting Actress nomination for her performance in One Battle After Another. In fact, her take on revolutionist Perfidia Beverly Hills garnered major praise from her costar Leonardo DiCaprio.

“I knew when she was brought into this movie, I was like, ‘This girl is gonna bring the heat,'” the actor—who received a Critics Choice Award nomination in the Best Actor category for his performance as former activist Bob Ferguson—told E! News in September. “And she did.”

Noting that Teyana’s got “the best sense of humor,” Leonardo, 51, continued, “She’s an amazing hang. She’s awesome.”
