“I thought we had a shoot that day,” Selena, 33, recalled on a March episode of Jay Shetty’s On Purpose podcast. “I had hair and makeup, and I was doing my regular day. I get in the car and I’m thinking to myself, ‘Where are we going?’ Because at this point, I feel like I know a lot of the studios that I go to. I just started getting a little frustrated because I was like, ‘This seems far right?'”
“I walk in,” she continued, “and all of a sudden I see no one’s in the room, and I just look at my assistant and she just shuts the door.”
And though it all seemed eerie at first, it wasn’t long before Selena noticed that a romantic proposal—complete with her favorites from Taco Bell as a picnic—was waiting for her.
