Five years after the Food Network alum confirmed she and the Hawaii Five-O alum were dating—and shortly after engaged that same year—her rep Jen Abel confirmed to TMZ April 22 that they had called off their nuptials.
The couple’s break up confirmation comes a week after Sandra was out and about in New York without her engagement ring. However, at time the Semi-Homemade Cooking star shook off speculation, telling TMZ her outfit simply “didn’t call for jewelry.”
Although Sandra’s relationship with Ben, 47, took off at whirlwind speed in 2021, two years after her breakup with Andrew Cuomo, the duo operated under the radar since. They were especially private in their final years together, having last stepped out together publicly in 2024 for Elton John’s AIDS Foundation Oscars viewing party.
At the time, the couple appeared to be having a blast together. In one photo captured from the soiree, Sandra playfully sipped her champagne as Ben—who was all smiles—snapped his own picture of the moment on his cell phone.
