Plante Moran to add Mexican accounting practice JA Del Río

US-headquartered professional services practice Plante Moran has announced that Mexico-based JA Del Río will join the company on 1 July 2026.

In a statement, Plante Moran said the move is the company’s “largest international expansion to date”.

JA Del Río was founded in 1988 in Guadalajara and provides audit, tax and consulting services.

The company works with multinational clients on five continents, focusing on cross-border trade, tax matters, risk and business expansion.

Its footprint spans multiple locations in Mexico including Guadalajara, León, Mexico City, Monterrey and Tijuana.

Beyond Mexico, it operates offices in Bogotá and Medellín in Colombia and in San Jose, Costa Rica.

Under the planned combination, more than 500 professionals from JA Del Río across Mexico, Colombia and Costa Rica will join Plante Moran’s existing team in Mexico.
