Nuveen is buying Schroders Plc for a total value of £9.9 billion ($13.5 billion), ending more than two centuries of independence for the UK’s largest standalone asset manager.
Under the terms of the transaction both parties have agreed to, each Schroders shareholder will receive a total of 612 pence, which includes a cash consideration of 590 pence and a dividend of 22 pence, according to a statement on Thursday.
