Lil Nas X has experienced a health scare.
Los Angeles police responded to a report of a “nude man walking in the street” on Ventura Boulevard around 5:50 a.m. on Aug. 21, who they later identified as the “Old Town Road” rapper, LAPD confirmed to E! News.
“Upon arrival, the suspect charged at officers and was taken into custody,” police said in a statement. “He was transported to a local hospital for a possible overdose and placed under arrest for Battery on a Police Officer.”
In photos obtained by TMZ, Lil Nas X was seen in the middle of a road wearing just white underwear and cowboy boots. At one point during the incident, he placed an orange traffic cone on his head.
E! News has reached out to Lil Nas X’s rep for comment but hasn’t heard back.
The 26-year-old’s recent hospitalization comes four months after he shared he was suffering from partial facial paralysis, noting that even though he had to visit the hospital, he was keeping his spirits up.
“When I smile, this is me doing a full smile,” Lil Nas said in an April 14 Instagram video, during which the left half of his face lifted in a smile. He added amid laughter, “It’s like, what the f–k? Bro I can’t even laugh right. Oh my god.”
