Eminem Joins Jack White for Detroit Lions Thanksgiving Halftime Show

What’s better than watching one Detroit legend rock the stage? A surprise mash-up from two of them.

Motor City-native Jack White had been announced as the halftime performer for the Detroit Lions’ annual Thanksgiving football game (this year versus the Green Bay Packers). Still, the rocker decided to up the ante by bringing out Eminem mid-medley.

Eminem, aka Marshall Mathers, who is arguably the Lions’ most famous fan, and his long-time manager and president of Shady Records, Paul Rosenberg, were recently tapped by the team to consult on the annual halftime show’s production through 2027. The Lions also announced that they hired Jesse Collins Entertainment (JCE) to produce the performance.

To note: White and Eminem weren’t the only two natives to perform at the NFL game; before kickoff, gospel singer Cece Winans delivered a masterful rendition of the national anthem.

More to come…
