The Deli Boys are back and bigger and badder than ever.
Hulu has released the trailer for Season 2 of the dark comedy series, which teases Mir (Asif Ali), Raj (Saagar Shaikh) and Lucky (Poorna Jagannathan) going into business with a shady casino magnate (Fred Armisen) to launder their drug money. Naturally, things don’t go according to plan. Lucky also finds romance, Raj goes to jail, and a mayoral candidate (Andrew Rannells) wants to take them all down.

Season 2 of the Onyx Collective series will debut on Hulu on May 28. The official logline for Season 2 states:
“Turns out inheriting a criminal empire was the easy part… and more money really does mean more problems. This season on ‘Deli Boys,’ the Dars are drowning in dirty cash and Philly’s sketchiest crooks are circling. Enter Max Sugar: casino king, money launderer, and Lucky’s new crush who turns laundering into a chaotic situationship. Raj plots revenge on Ahmad, Mir tries to expand DarCo without blowing it up, and Philly D.A. Andrew Chadwater hopes one big bust will make him mayor.”
The cast of the new season also includes Kumail Nanjiani, Lilly Singh, Robin Thede, and returning guest star Tan France.
Abdullah Saeed created the series, which was developed by Jenni Konner and Nora Silver under Jenni Konner Productions. Michelle Nader serves as showrunner and is an executive producer alongside Saeed, Konner and Silver. The series hails from Onyx Collective and is produced by 20th Television.
