Luckily, he announced he was cancer-free five months later. However, he received the news that he had an HPV-related oropharyngeal cancer quickly after in December 2025. He is now in remission for both cancers, telling Good Morning America on Feb. 4, “It’s been a roller coaster ride for sure.”
Now that he’s on the mend, Dave revealed what he’s been up to while gaining back his strength, sharing in his Instagram post, “I’ve been very busy. I’ve been creating artwork and creative writing and I’ve been working on AwearMarket.com, our non-toxic store.”
He continued: “We’re looking out for your health and so I wish good health to all of you.”
