Bravo Renews ‘RHORI,’ Orders ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Spinoff, Sets Summer Premieres

At NBCUniversal’s upfront on May 11, as has become typical for this time of year, Bravo flooded the zone. The network’s topline announcements — presented from the Radio City Music Hall stage by “Watch What Happens Live” host Andy Cohen — was a Season 2 renewal for the immediately beloved “Real Housewives of Rhode Island,” which premiered in April. Cohen also announced that BravoCon will, as expected, be in fall 2027, and that the next Bravo Fan Fest will take place in Charleston, S.C. this October (where he’ll also tape four episodes of “WWHL”). Along with that news, Bravo ordered two new series, a “Vanderpump Rules” spinoff, “Lisa Las Vegas,” and “Secrets, Lives and Texas Wives.” (Full loglines below.)

Peacock also unveiled its plans on Monday, and among them are that “Summer House” star Ciara Miller and influencer Tefi Pessoa will be the new hosts of “Aftersun,” the companion series to “Love Island USA” Season 8, premiering on June 2 on the streamer. Notably, the hosting duties for Miller — who is a wronged party in the recent “Summer House” scandal, which has dominated the Bravosphere discourse in recent weeks — mirror “Love Island” host Ariana Madix’s post-Scandoval career boost.

Bravo set its summer slate as well, which includes both the landmark 20th season of “The Real Housewives of Orange County” and the celebratory “Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th,” which Cohen announced at BravoCon last November. In chronological order, Season 11 of “Below Deck Mediterranean” will premiere on June 8; Season 3 of the newly controversial “McBee Dynasty” will premiere on June 15; Season 2 of “Next Gen NYC” will follow on June 24; Season 20 of “RHOC,” July 9; “Roaring 20th,” on Aug. 9. Jeff Lewis’ “Still Flipping Out,” also announced at BravoCon, will premiere later this year.

Other announced renewals, some of which have already filmed or are currently filming, are: “The Valley: Persian Style,” “Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition,” “Below Deck Down Under,” “Married to Medicine,” “Southern Charm,“ “Summer House,” “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” and “Top Chef.” Notably, “Ladies of London: The New Reign,” which recently completed its first run on Bravo (though it was the fourth season of “Ladies of London”), has not yet been renewed, despite its popularity among the Bravo pundity.

Among the ratings data points Bravo touted are that the network is Top 3 entertainment cable brand, and has eight of the Top 10 reality shows on cable. “The Real Housewives of Rhode Island,” the first new “Real Housewives” series since 2020’s “RHOSLC,” is currenly the network’s No. 2 show, behind only “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” The scandal-fueled 10th season of “Summer House” is, perhaps unsurprisingly, on track to be its most-watched season ever. The current season of “Top Chef” is set to be its most-watched season since 2021.

Here are the loglines for Bravo’s new shows.
