Brand New Day’ Wraps Filming, Director Thanks Tom Holland

That’s a wrap on “Spider-Man” star Tom Holland for his latest outing as the web-slinging Marvel superhero.

“Spider-Man: Brand New Day” director Destin Daniel Cretton announced Friday that filming has wrapped on the fourth of Holland’s solo movies, thanking the star for his “kind, generous leadership on and off screen, for your relentless work ethic, your fearless performances, and for your friendship.”

“Spider-Man” is Cretton’s second Marvel movie following 2021’s “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.” He was previously set to direct the now-scrapped “Avengers: The Kang Dynasty,” but departed the project in November 2023.
