K-pop stars RIIZE took over Las Vegas this weekend, surprising the crowd at Samsung‘s “The First Look” event at CES.

The electronics giant’s invite-only preview night helped to kicked off the 2026 edition of the annual Consumer Electronics Show, and the Korean brand ramped up the entertainment factor, bringing in the six-piece K-pop boy band for a special appearance at the Wynn Las Vegas hotel.

Formed in 2023, RIIZE became official Samsung ambassadors last year, and while the group didn’t perform at the “First Look” event, their music played throughout the night, through newly-released Samsung speakers and projectors (the Music Studio 5 speaker and The Freestyle+ portable projector, respectively).

RIIZE was also given a shoutout by Samsung executives during the event, as a spotlight shone on the six members sitting in the front row of the packed conference room. The group then made their way outside to a patio area of the Wynn, where they posed for photographers and a crowd of tech journalists who had suddenly turned into frenzied fans.

Earlier in the day, the members had time to test out some of the newly-unveiled Samsung products at CES. The group was among the first people to get their hands on Samsung’s new Galaxy Z TriFold phone — yes, a tri-fold — which unfurls to reveal a 10-inch display, the largest screen ever on a Galaxy phone. When flat, it’s like having three 6.5-inch smartphones in one device, and the Galaxy Z TriFold lets you run separate and multiple apps on each “section” of the display, functioning much like a computer. Samsung’s “Armor FlexHinge” creates virtually no gap between the panels, and the screen is totally flat when unfolded, with no raised edges or bumps. When folded, the TriFold is surprisingly thin, measuring just under 4mm thick.

The Galaxy Z TriFold has all the bells and whistles Android users have come to expect from Samsung too, like a 200MP camera, up to 30x zoom capabilities, a three-cell battery system (one for each of the three panels), and advanced AI technology that can help with everything from fine-tuning photos to translating foreign menus.

Galaxy Z Fold7

The Galaxy Z TriFold launches later this year but if you can’t wait, Samsung’s current foldable — the Galaxy Z Fold7 — is available now online in three colors. The phone comes unlocked so you can use it with the carrier of your choice.

Elsewhere, Sungchan was spotted checking out Samsung’s massive new 130-inch “Micro RGB” TV, watching a soccer game on the screen with Wonbin. The TV features what Samsung says is its “widest and most detailed” color spectrum ever, while the RGB light source features millions of tiny diodes that work to blast brighter, crisper, more vivid projections. Sungchan, meantime, activated the TV’s “AI Soccer Mode,” which uses AI to automatically upscale picture and sound to its highest possible quality. Viewers can also ask Samsung’s AI technology to pull up stats about the game, betting odds, and even remove the commentary from the live feed, so you can watch the game without annoying chatter.

Samsung officials told the CES crowd that the company has been the “world’s number one TV brand for 20 years straight,” reporting more than 830 million units sold.

RIIZE, meantime, has been helping to promote multiple Samsung products, including the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro earbuds (which won an innovation award at last year’s CES), and the Galaxy Watch8, the brand’s latest smartwatch.

Galaxy Watch8 Classic

We like the Galaxy Watch8 Classic, which features a handsome dial that’s reminiscent of a luxury watch rather than a fitness tracker. Choose from two color options and multiple band styles. The smartwatch retains all the features of the regular Galaxy Watch8, like heart rate sensor, a vascular load tracker, sleep monitor and more.

As a global brand ambassador, Samsung says RIIZE will continue to promote the brand’s products and innovations in the coming months, through placement in music videos, social content and an upcoming “Samsung Health global music project.”

Social content featuring “Samsung Electronics’ products selected based on each RIIZE member’s personal tastes,” will be released on Samsung’s YouTube channel and RIIZE’s official social media accounts in the coming weeks.
