United Air Grounds Flights at Major US Airports on IT Issue

United Airlines Holdings Inc. has grounded flights at major US airports including Newark, San Francisco and Chicago.

The Chicago-based carrier made the request, which spans several major airports where it has significant flight operations, to the US Federal Aviation Administration on Wednesday evening.
