XPENG had a banging blockbuster year in 2025. It grew 126% from 190,068 vehicle deliveries in 2024 to 429,445 vehicle deliveries in 2025.
Most of its growth was in China, but the company also had huge growth abroad. It sold 45,008 vehicles outside of China, representing 96% growth. It is now present in 60 (sixty) markets.
“Notably, XPENG’s total vehicles delivered in 2025 are expected to reduce life-cycle greenhouse gas emissions by more than 6.61 million tons — equivalent to the carbon absorption of 110 million young trees over 10 years,” the company notes.
However, it’s not all good news. XPENG’s December deliveries were up only 2% compared to December 2024 — from 36,695 to 37,508. They were also up just 2% month over month.
Across the 4th quarter as a whole, XPENG vehicle sales rose 27% — from 91,507 to 11,6249.
Overall, the company has to be very happy with 2025. With even just a small increase in 2026, XPENG could reach the giant milestone of half a million sales a year. But I’m sure its ambitions are much higher than that.
XPENG also grew its charging network substantially in 2025. “During 2025, XPENG accelerated the expansion of its self-operated charging network, adding more than 1,100 new charging stations and bringing the total network to 3,000 stations, marking a major milestone in the Company’s infrastructure development,” the company adds.
