The basketball game between the Atlanta Dream and Golden State Valkyries was thrown into chaos during its final minute on July 29 when a neon green dildo was thrown onto the court during the final minute of play, momentarily putting a stop to the WNBA game.
“Something flies on the court actually from the crowd,” announcer Morgan Ragan said in a clip from the game shared to X. “And you can see the object.”
Ragan noted that it was a “green thing” that bounced on the court and went over the sideline, adding, “We’re not exactly sure where it came from.”
She expressed her frustration that the item was thrown during such a crucial moment in the match up—especially as the teams were tied at 75 to 75—saying, “No room for any of that type of activity.”
A timeout was ultimately called as Ragan lamented, “And no one’s picked the object up yet, you guys.”
