The 77th Emmy Awards have officially concluded, and TV fans now have a comprehensive list of winners to find their next show to binge.
Seth Rogen’s “The Studio” was the most awarded show of the night. The Apple TV+ Hollywood satire picked up a total of 13 total wins across the Primetime and Creative Arts Emmys, including best comedy series and best actor in a comedy series for Rogen.
Meanwhile, HBO was another big winner of the night. Between HBO and HBO Max, the network landed 30 Emmy awards this year, including nine for limited series “The Penguin” and five wins for freshman drama sensation “The Pitt.”
“Having ‘The Pitt’ break through is a really big deal for a lot of reasons,” HBO CEO Casey Bloys told Variety on Monday morning. “A show that kind of is embracing the principles of television, I think, is that much more gratifying.”
Netflix’s “Adolescence” was also a big winner in the limited series categories, picking up eight total awards this year, while “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” scored its first-ever win in the outstanding talk series category — fresh off the news that the show would be ending in 2026.
Emmy voters also took a bite out of the Big Apple this year. In addition to “The Studio,” “Apple TV+ is home to many of Sunday night’s biggest winners, including original hit “Severance,” which took home 8 awards and “Slow Horses,” which won two.

Variety Review: “‘The Pitt’ doubles down on the realism that made ‘ER’ a sensation, working topical issues like opioid abuse and the pandemic into a frantically paced plot that effectively induces the same sense of overwhelm in the audience that its exhausted characters live with every day.”
‘Adolescence’

Variety review: “Whatever the destination ‘Severance’ is aiming for, the journey dramatizes the arbitrary rules and compartmentalized nature of modern work better than anything else on air.”
‘Hacks’

‘Somebody, Somewhere’

Variety Review: Just as magical as ever, the final season of “Somebody Somewhere” is a stunningly honest depiction of friendship, grace and courage.

Variety review: “In removing its stars from their native habitats, ‘The Traitors’ also strips reality TV down to its most essential elements. When assigned to a sufficiently interesting group of people, even a slumber party pastime like Mafia becomes a must-watch event.”
‘Last Week Tonight With John Oliver’

‘SNL 50: The Anniversary Special’

Variety review: ‘SNL 50′ was a statement entirely about itself, a pleasurable and even delightful journey through years of American history in which ‘SNL’ were the only referent.”
‘Slow Horses’

Image Credit: Courtesy of Jack English/Apple TV+ Emmy wins: Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series
Where to stream: Apple TV+
Variety review: “With every episode, ‘Slow Horses’ raises the stakes well beyond its initial setup of, “isn’t it frustrating to be a spy in exile,” which was probably inevitable. On the other hand, the series’ material is far stronger as a thrilling spy comedy than the intense spy drama vibe that ends up fueling director James Hawes’ most kinetic (and admittedly impressive) sequences.”
‘Andor’

Image Credit: Lucasfilm Emmy wins: Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series, Outstanding Production Design for a Narrative Period or Fantasy Program, Outstanding Fantasy/Sci-Fi Costumes, Outstanding Picture Editing for a Drama Series, Outstanding Visual Effects
Where to stream: Disney+
Variety review: ‘Andor’ is richly satisfying as a complete work, though it leaves ‘Star Wars’ as a whole at a crossroads after the impending departure of Lucasfilm head Kathleen Kennedy. But Gilroy and his collaborators leave behind them a map for how the franchise could move forward.”
