Venezuela-US tensions LIVE updates: In what could escalate tensions between Venezuela and the US amid President Donald Trump’s crackdown on drug cartel, the Venezuelan government blamed the massive explosions that rocked capital Caracas in the early hours of Saturday on the United States administration. While confirmation of the explosions being US airstrikes was awaited, a CBS reporter said on X President Trump had ordered strikes on sites inside Venezuela, including military facilities.
