Trace Cyrus Claims Dad Billy Ray is Taking Legal Action Against Him Amid Family Rift
Trace Cyrus is coming in like a wrecking ball.
Miley Cyrus‘ older brother, 36, shared some scathing words for their dad Billy Ray Cyrus—with whom Tish Cyrus shares Trace and Miley, as well as Brandi Cyrus, 38, Braison Cyrus, 31, and Noah Cyrus, 25—accusing him of skipping their grandmother’s funeral so that he could attend a fashion show in Italy years ago.
“This man is so hungry for fame it’s pathetic,” Trace wrote under a photo of the “Achy Breaky Heart” singer on Instagram June 10. “He really flew to Italy for a fashion show but wouldn’t come to LA for Mammie’s funeral while he was still married to my mom.”
“Even after his daughter got him a 60k private jet like he demanded,” he continued, “then he still didn’t come even after the plane was paid for.”
While it’s unclear which fashion show Trace was referencing, Tish’s mother Loretta Finley died in 2020, two years before she divorced Billy Ray.
“You’re the lamest man to ever walk planet earth,” Trace went on. “Honestly embarrassed to ever have considered you my idol.”
