The exodus is driven by lower taxes, warm weather, and safer neighborhoods. But it’s also driven by two billionaires spending $10 million to make it happen. Citadel’s Ken Griffin and real estate magnate Stephen Ross launched a campaign to lure CEOs and investors to South Florida with national ads, direct outreach, and a concierge program that helps executives relocate operations and navigate state regulations.
Former Miami Mayor Francis Suarez called Palantir’s move a “watershed moment” and “tipping point” for the city.
