If you’re already seeing Halloween costumes on your For You page, we are happy to inform you that spooky season is officially here (no matter how much we’re still sweating on the outside) — and The Home Depot is officially in the spirit. The home improvement retailer has officially released their full 2025 Halloween decor lineup, including a new and improved version of the beloved “Skelly,” the 12-foot skeleton. Want to turn your house into the scariest one on the block? Halloween enthusiasts, you can now shop all-new figures and returning fan-favorites, exclusively on HomeDepot.com and in Home Depot stores.
For superfans, Halloween is a yearlong journey to find the absolute best décor for the month of October (although I no longer live in the suburbs, I personally have been known to keep the spirit alive by having “potion bottles” on our bar cart and pumpkin garlands on our door year-round). Which is why it’s no surprise that The Home Depot is serving up scares earlier than ever. This year the ghouls are bigger and better than ever — but as always, it’s necessary to have quick fingers so you can add these ghouls to cart before they disappear for good (or until later this year), because they tend to sell out fast.

But the undeniable autumnal GOAT of the year (as always) is the 12-foot Giant-Sized Skeleton, a viral smash that’s sold out every year since 2020. “Skelly” as it’s affectionately known to fans, will make its fourth year debut with a high-tech upgrade: The 6.5-foot “Ultra Skelly” now comes with LED life-like eyes that have 18 swappable settings (think flames and fireworks), and can also be controlled through an app that lets you record up to 30 recordings of 30 seconds each and play them through the skeleton (perfect for jump-scaring your neighbors and small children).
Skelly is joined this year new companions, a spooky bunch part of the new Gruesome Grounds Collection that includes a an 8-foot two-legged Wyvern (aka dragon) and an animated Tumble the Troll. There’s also a [checks notes] gigantic haunted Megalodon shark. Who knew Skarknado could film its 57th sequel in your front lawn?

One newcomer is the massive, 15.5-foot Giant-Sized Animated LED Worricrow ($399), the tallest of Skelly’s freinds who who looks like a nightmare version of “Children of the Corn” with built-in color-changing lights. It’s sure to scare the living kernels out of onlookers, but if you’re looking for something a bit more traditional, you can also nab an officially-licensed seven-foot Animated LED Frankenstein’s Monster ($279), who says iconic lines from Universal’s 1931 Frankenstein film and has full life-like arm and facial movements.
This ghoul crew is only available online while supplies last, but never fear, because Halloween fiends can anticipate more thrills and exclusive must-have pieces announced throughout the year, including all-new frightening characters from the silver screen, like the 3.5 ft. Animated LED Tiffany Valentine Doll and a 3.5 ft Animated LED Scarred Chucky Doll from the Chucky franchise.
The Home Depot
For now you can shop for 999 happy haunts (okay, maybe slightly less than that) from the Halloween drop exclusively on HomeDepot.com and in stores. Happy haunting!
