The latest iPhones are officially here. While a lot of the attention went to the super-slim iPhone Air, the base model iPhone 17, the Pro, and Pro Max models got some meaningful upgrades for average and power users alike.
If you’re ready to upgrade, T-Mobile is offering an iPhone 17 Pro with a phone trade-in in any condition, and T-Mobile members can save up to 20% compared to AT&T and Verizon. T-Mobile has the largest and fastest 5G network, with more towers and bandwidth for better coverage. Plus, T-Mobile is now the best network in the U.S., according to Ookla’s Speedtest Awards. That means it’s easier to stay connected, wherever you are.
Plus, if you like camping or a weekend getaway far from the city, T-Mobile’s T-Satellite service offers direct communication with satellites through the Starlink network, so you can still stay connected when you’re far from cell towers.
There are a few ways to save on the new iPhone with T-Mobile. You can get the iPhone 17 on T-Mobile when you switch carriers and add a line on the Experience plan. Or, you can get four iPhone 17s and four lines for $25/line with eligible trade-ins.
What’s New With the iPhone 17?
While a new iPhone is announced every year, there are some years that feel bigger than others. This is one of them. The base iPhone 17 finally features an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz, making for smoother graphics when scrolling or gaming, and the display is brighter, with up to 3000 nits peak brightness. The screen itself is bigger, too; the iPhone 16 has a 6.1” screen, while the 17 features a 6.3” screen.
One of the most exciting features, though, is the new “Center Stage” front camera. The camera’s redesigned sensor allows you to resize the aspect ratio from landscape to portrait, all without having to risk dropping it while adjusting how you’re holding the phone. Speaking of dropping it, the iPhone features Ceramic Shield 2, which offers better scratch resistance and durability.
iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max
The Pro and Pro Max cameras feature a completely redesigned back, with a full-width camera “plateau” and a two-tone design. The cameras also got an upgrade; they now feature a 40 MP Pro Fusion Camera system, including telephoto and ultra-wide lenses. Both the Pro and Pro Max cameras feature Ceramic Shield on the front and back for greater scratch resistance and durability, and both use the A19 Pro chip.
The Pro and Pro Max models are similar, but the latter offers a larger 6.9” display, longer battery life, and more storage. The Pro model offers up to 1 TB of storage, while the Pro Max model goes up to a whopping 2 TB of storage. All of the new models, including Air, now start at 266 GB of storage.
