Sydney residents line up for hours to donate blood after Bondi attack

The wait to donate blood at the Lifeblood Sydney Town Hall Donor Centre reached up to seven hours today after the fatal antisemitic terror attack on Bondi beach.

Sydney residents who spoke to the BBC were not deterred by the queues.

It “doesn’t matter how long it takes”, 21-year-old Alex said.

“This is all we can do” another 21-year-old, Colt, added.
