The stock market rallied for a fourth day in a row as Wall Street held out hope that the worst of the tariff selloff is in the rearview mirror.
The S&P 500 gained 0.7%. The Nasdaq Composite rose 1.3%. The Dow rose 20 points, or less than 0.1%. All three indexes rose Tuesday through Friday.
The Nasdaq has risen at least 1% each of the past four days, marking its longest such stretch since 2022, according to Dow Jones Market Data.
