Stocks Bounce Back As Tariff Fears Fade. The Dow Adds 588 Points.

The stock market bounced back on Monday as last week’s tariff fears were already starting to fade.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 588 points, or 1.3%. The S&P 500 was up 1.6%. The Nasdaq Composite was up 2.2%.

The major indexes cut into a large chunk of Friday’s decline. President Donald Trump on Sunday said on Truth Social, “Don’t worry about China, it will all be fine!” That was good enough for Wall Street.
