‘Sakamoto Days’ Star Vinnie Hacker Signs With WME

Popular TikTok creator and actor Vinnie Hacker has signed with WME for representation in all areas, Variety has learned. This signing marks Hacker’s exit from CAA, which he originally signed with in February 2023.

Based in Los Angeles, Hacker first rose to fame in 2020 with his viral content across TikTok, Twitch and Instagram. In 2021, he joined the L.A.-based social-media collective Hype House and starred on Netflix’s subsequent reality TV series about the project, aptly titled “Hype House,” which premiered in 2022.

He currently boasts more than 15.2 million followers on TikTok and 4.6 million on Instagram.

Hacker, who is a member of gaming organization 100 Thieves, regularly streams first-person shooter games such as “Valorant” and “Apex Legends” and has won several celebrity and pro-level tournaments.

He has done collaborations with brands including Formula E ambassadorship and partnerships with anime network Crunchyroll, and “League of Legends” developer Riot Games.

In 2022, Hacker signed with IMG Models and has since partnered with Ralph Lauren, Dior, Burberry, Loewe, Prada, YSL Beauty and more fashion and beauty brands.

Recently, Hacker has expanded his career into voice acting, portraying the character Slur/Kei Uzuki in Netflix’s anime adaptation of “Sakamoto Days,” which debuts Part 2 on July 14. The first season of the anime, which premiered January 11, was a hit with audiences, spending 10 consecutive weeks on the Netflix Global Top 10 TV (Non-English) list and setting the record for the highest single-week viewership ever for an anime on the streaming service.

Along with WME, Hacker is repped by IMG Models and Underscore Talent.
