Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher are starting a new chapter apart.
More than one year after announcing their breakup, the Borat star and the Now You See Me actress shared in a joint statement that their divorce “has now been finalised” after over 20 years together.
“We are proud of all we’ve achieved together,” Sacha and Isla—who share three kids together—wrote on their respective Instagram Stories June 13, “and, continuing our great respect for each other, we remain friends and committed to co-parenting our wonderful children.”
They continued, “We ask for the media to continue to respect our children’s privacy.”
While the pair filed for divorce in 2023, they did not publicly disclosed their separation until April 2024. As they put it in a joint statement at the time, “We have always prioritized our privacy, and have been quietly working through this change.”
The former couple added, “We forever share in our devotion and love for our children.”
