Blackpink’s Lisa Reveals Her Post-Concert Treat—and It’s Already Viral on TikTok
Rosé is addressing rising tensions in the BLACKPINK fandom.
After the “APT” singer and her bandmates Lisa, JENNIE and Jisoo concluded their K-pop group’s reunion concert tour Jan. 26—following a nearly three-year hiatus she shared where the group stands after renewing their contract in 2023.
“We’re more aware and we understand the weight of signing these things as musicians and again about protecting yourself,” Rosé shared, declining to share the specifics of the band’s new contract, during a Jan. 28 Call Her Daddy appearance. “If one of us feels like at that time that’s not the right thing then we’re all in. We will understand and like any relationship if one person is not ready for something then it should just be respected.”
Indeed, the 28-year-old—who made history as the first Korean solo artist to win Song of the Year for “APT” at the VMAs last year—expressed gratitude that BLACKPINK’s small group size allows them to have an equal voice in calling the shots.
“We will not be able to neglect anyone’s decision at any time in their life,” she explained, “and we trust that every decision made is the right decision for each person.”
