This Emmys season — and DTLA — just got even more glam. Following the announcement of this 77th edition’s nominees, the awards show’s official host hotel partner, The Ritz-Carlton, Los Angeles, rolled out some lovely news of its own: Their room service offerings now include the delivery of a well-stocked beauty fridge — high-tech tools, obsessed-over formulas, hacks and all — to guests seeking pre-glam pampering and in-room skin care TLC.

This new Sanctuary Service menu ($58 to $141 and up) is groundbreaking, especially when considering that five-star hotels routinely stock their rooms and suites with a host of treats and amenities, such as custom toiletries, small-batch booze, artisanal snacks, fragranced bath salts and more. But none offer facial skin care products, let alone advanced tools — until now.

“While most hotels have perfected a luxurious bath and shower experience, we think it’s also necessary to offer equally essential and premium skin care,” says hotel spa director Leslie Arevalo, who regularly sees the biggest names in Hollywood strut through the property. “In fact, it’s even more important to maintain your regimen while traveling, considering all the changes that might impact your skin health.”

The new amenity is inspired by the bolthole’s VIP guests’ most common requests and beloved products, Arevalo says, and it can be ordered upon check-in ($142 for everything) on their real-time reservations platform or ahead of time. Those who know they want to indulge in the multi-step evening and morning routine—including face masks and chilled cryotherapy globes for brightening — can have it customized to their specific skincare needs by booking a consultation with the spa concierge 72 hours in advance.

Arevalo sourced the comprehensive curated capsule collection of products from her favorite trusted high-end brands, including ESPA and Epicutis, with the latter’s Lipid Recovery Mask and Eye Mask being ultra-popular makeup artist-used products prior to applying Emmys makeup. There are charged crystals and recovery balms, Therabody SmartGoggles that dole out heavenly temple and eye massage plus heat to relieve stress and eye strain, a glow-promoting infrared blanket by Higherdose and the now-ubiquitous go-to, an LED face mask, by SkinAct. Of course, the results can be magnified by booking several of the spa’s Red Carpet Ready treatments, too.

While it’s being rolled out in time for the awards ceremony, this feel-good self-care amenity is a permanent one, however it will likely mature over time. “Los Angeles is one of the birthplaces for major beauty and wellness trends,” says Arevalo, adding, “We’re excited to be one of the first and only hotels in the city to bring a star-studded skincare routine straight to guests’ rooms.” She plans to rotate products throughout the year and as technology evolves. Says the spa maven, “In addition to our own research, we always borrow inspiration from our guests for quick fixes and long-lasting, long-term results.”
