Reality TV’s Chrisley Family Lands New Lifetime Docuseries

The Chrisley family will soon be back, even with its patriarch and matriarch still locked up.

Lifetime has given the official green light to an untitled docuseries about reality TV’s Chrisley family, marking the first project with the family after Todd and Julie Chrisley were sentenced to federal prison for bank fraud and tax evasion in November 2022.

Set for a 2025 release, the series comes two years after hit series “Chrisley Knows Best” finished airing on the USA Network, with the executive producers behind “The Life & Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson” and “Surviving R. Kelly” producing for Bunim/Murray Productions.

The official synopsis reads: “The family faces the challenge of carrying on the Chrisley name and legacy on their own with only phone calls and brief visits with their incarcerated parents. While Savannah maintains custody of her younger siblings, Chloe and Grayson, she has been fighting tirelessly for a Presidential pardon to free her parents. Meanwhile, Chase is addressing some life struggles while building his new business and navigating his relationship with girlfriend Jodi.”

The project is being produced by Bunim/Murray Productions, a part of Banijay Americas. Executive producers include Julie Pizzi, Farnaz Farjam, Jesse Daniels, Rit Saraswat, Savannah Chrisley and Chase Chrisley, with Nicole Blais co-executive producing. Brie Miranda Bryant and Nicole Vogel executive produce for Lifetime.

“Roads of Fire” director Nathaniel Lezra has signed with RSA Entertainment for representation in writing and directing. The signing comes ahead of the New York premiere of “Roads of Fire” at the 2025 Brooklyn Film Festival.

The film, which won best documentary amid its premiere at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, follows Darién Gap, an asylum seeker navigating life in New York amid a global migration crisis.
