Paging doctors Ross and Carter.
Though the beloved series ER has been off the air since 2009, the ties between the cast members still run deep. In fact, star Noah Wyle recently revealed his former colleague George Clooney’s reaction to his new medical drama series, The Pitt.
“George watched it and he was very complimentary, which I think was his way of getting me to come see his show, which worked,” Noah told E! News at the Gotham Awards June 2, alluding to George’s Broadway play Good Night, and Good Luck. “He was equally phenomenal.”
But the Ocean’s Eleven actor—who reunited with Noah and several former ER costars at his play’s opening night earlier this year—isn’t the only former ER doctor to celebrate Noah’s new series. As the 54-year-old added, “I’ve seen quite a few of the old cast members and they’ve been really lovely.”
And “lovely” is a word that comes to mind for Noah’s entire experience on The Pitt, from working with his fellow cast members to the reception the show has received from the public.
