But this isn’t the first time the Grammy winner has caused some chatter in recent months. In fact, when Miranda announced that she was opening for Morgan Wallen—who’s had a few notable controversies over the years—on his I’m The Problem tour in February, her fans didn’t hold back on their criticism.
“I’m reading through the comments of the Morgan Wallen tour announcement,” Miranda said in her Instagram video at the time, noting the feedback ranged from users saying, “This ain’t it, sis,” to “I’m so disappointed in both of you. May god forgive you both.”
But despite the backlash, the “Drowns the Whiskey” star kept her reaction lighthearted.
“We’re really doing bad on this press tour, Morgan,” she teased, before directing her attention to her fanbase. “Thanks guys for the support. Appreciate you guys.”
