Michael B. Jordan Mom Reacts to NSFW Nikki Glaser Joke

Someone needed a drink after Nikki Glaser was done complimenting Michael B. Jordan‘s performance in Sinners.

And that someone was the actor’s mother, Donna Jordan.

“In Sinners, Michael played two brothers—am I allowed to say that? Doesn’t sound right,” the 2026 Golden Globes host said in her opening monologue Jan. 11, leaning into the un-PC play on words.

“He played twins,” she clarified. “He played twins. I can’t believe it, we got two Michael B. Jordans. When I saw that, I was like Nikki B. Jerkin’ because that was awesome.”

Jordan laughed, and also kind of cringed, considering his mom was sitting next to him, Donna his date for the second weekend in a row after also accompanying him to the Critics Choice Awards Jan. 4.

“I’m sorry, Michael,” Glaser continued. “Why did I make that joke? I know your mom, I’m so sorry. I should not have said that to you! That should’ve been a DM, my mistake. I love you, you’re amazing.”
