Met Gala 2025: Tom Holland Supports Zendaya

Tom Holland was there to support Zendaya for the 2025 Met Gala—he just wasn’t at the actual event.

Indeed, the Spider-Man star joined his fiancée ahead of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s annual Costume Institute Benefit in New York City May 5 at The Surrey hotel as she got ready for fashion’s biggest night.

But before Zendaya walked the museum’s stairs in a custom all-white Louis Vuitton suit and matching hat (styled, of course, by her longtime stylist Law Roach), Tom was seen sporting a Canadian tuxedo and orange ball cap while leaving the New York hotel.

As for why the Marvel star didn’t join the Euphoria actress at the actual event? He has made it pretty clear he doesn’t want to steal Zendaya’s spotlight, telling Men’s Health in January he typically avoids walking a red carpet with his fiancée “because it’s not my moment, it’s her moment, and if we go together, it’s about us.”
