Now, you can smell as delicious as Leah because the Love Island star and Degree partner recently spilled all her scent stacking secrets, including her hack for making fragrances last longer.

How do I make my fragrance last longer?

Leah stans likely have her TikTok viral shower routine memorized. And while she admits that her product lineup is subject to change, there’s one mainstay: “The one staple I always use is my Dove antibacterial [body wash].”

In fact, this OG body wash is the first step in her smell good routine, which takes scent stacking to the max. It all starts in the shower, and it’s there that her hack for making fragrances last all day comes into play.

“Scent sticks better to skin that is fresh out of the shower,” she explains. “When you put your scent on dry, it doesn’t really stick as much.” For that reason, Leah recommends spritzing perfume on freshly washed skin for long-lasting smell.

When skin is hydrated, it gives the scent something to cling on to, Leah explains. “If you want your scent to project a lot, that’s the best way,” she says. 

Scent layering is also a crucial step in helping fragrances to last. “Use your shower gel, go in with lotion, seal it in with oil, and then put your perfume on,” Leah advises.
