‘Lego Masters’ Renewed for Season 6 on Fox, Nick Cannon to Host

The next edition of Lego Masters of Fox will be built a little differently from the show’s prior runs.

The network has ordered a sixth season of the competition show — and announced that Nick Cannon will take over as host. Will Arnett has hosted the first five seasons of Lego Masters — including the one currently airing on Fox — and three editions of the spinoff Lego Masters: Celebrity Holiday Bricktacular.

The parting of Arnett and Lego Masters appears amicable; sources told The Hollywood Reporter that scheduling conflicts made him unavailable to host season six.

“We’re thrilled to bring Lego Masters back for another season,” Fox Television Network president Michael Thorn said in a statement. “Alongside our incredible creative partners, this beloved series continues to captivate audiences. Originally launched with the wonderful Will Arnett, the show now enters an exciting next chapter with Nick Cannon at the helm, who brings a new fun energy to the competition.”

Along with Cannon — who also hosts The Masked Singer on Fox — season six of Lego Masters will include audition episodes, which will be filmed later this month at the Legoland California Resort in Carlsbad. The show is set to air during the 2025-26 season.

“I’m a huge fan of Lego Masters,” said Cannon. “It’s an honor to join the series and host another show with my Fox family. Season six we’re bringing an action-packed hour full of family fun, passion and for the first time ever, in-person audition episodes. I can’t wait to see the insane creations and give away a big bag of money to the best of the best.”

“As we embark on this new chapter, we’re particularly excited to welcome Nick Cannon to the Lego Masters family as our new host,” said Sharon Levy, CEO of Lego Masters producer Endemol Shine North America. “Nick is a proven entertainer with a fantastic rapport, and we’re eager to witness how his unique style will elevate the competition during the new season. Of course, none of this would have been possible without the phenomenal Will Arnett, who guided us through five truly superlative seasons. Will’s comedic brilliance and genuine passion for the show laid the perfect foundation, and we are immensely thankful for his incredible contribution.”

Endemol Shine North America, Tuesday’s Child and Plan B Entertainment produce Lego Masters, under license from the Lego Group. Executive producers for season six are Shyam Balsé (who serves as showrunner, Levy and Michael Heyerman of Endemol Shine North America; Karen Smith and Steph Harris of Tuesday’s Child; Brad Pitt, Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner of Plan B; and Jill Wilfert and Robert May of the Lego Group.
