Our furry friend Labubu has been quite the status symbol recently. Created by Hong Kong–born artist Kasing Lung, the doll’s Gremlin-like fur, wide eyes, and mischievous charm have turned them into a global sensation not unlike Beanie Babies or Hello Kitty — but it’s not just because they’re so stinkin’ cute (and creepy).
